That’s our thinking when it comes to working with small businesses. As a top 10 Great Place to Work for three straight years, we apply the same people principles we use internally to the products and services we provide to America’s small businesses.

Our unique positioning within the small business community was recognized Thursday morning when Karen Mills, Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), visited SnagAJob during our weekly company meeting. During her remarks, she said that SnagAJob represents the kind of company that will move the nation forward.

That’s great praise – and great responsibility.

SnagAJob Founder and CEO Shawn Boyer, the SBA’s 2008 National Small Business Owner of the Year, took advantage of the organization’s guidance and training when he launched the company back in 2000.

Now 11 years later – and fueled by the recent acquisition of $27 million in Series C funding – we’re looking forward to developing even better products and services to fuel small businesses (and big businesses, too). In other words, get ready for some exciting announcements in the coming months. We realize that in order to help move the nation forward, we need to move SnagAJob forward first.
